  1. Hello,

Thanks for the very thorough comparison of trucks available to the North American market.

I have driven a full size truck for work for the past 20 years. I work in construction. I have found that most dodge trucks aren;t quite built as well as their Ford and Chevy counterparts, with the exception being their 1 ton diesel trucks.

I have found that the Chevy full size trucks are by far the best built (least issues) , and the Fords are probably the best bang for your buck as their pricing (especially on used models) are hard to beat.

If money wasnt an issue I would buy Toyota 100% of the time….but their trucks are very expensive and I have had a lot of great Chevy trucks over the years that have provided me many years of great trouble-free driving.

  2. Thanks to the author for great selection and comparison of the best trucks! As for me, my favorites are Ford F 150 and Chevrolet Silverado. These two cars are practically similar in their technical characteristics and price.

But Chevrolet Silverado, in my subjective opinion, looks much more stylish. Moreover, this car has much more useful electronics installed. And though you can install such systems as Apple CarPlay/Android Auto by yourself, it is much more convenient when everything is already installed by the manufacturer.

At the same time, Ford F 150 is a classic car, loved by many generations of the Americans, known inside and out by mechanics in auto repair shops.

  3. I think I can make use of your advice. I’ve been meaning to get a car (yes, a used one) but I’m torn between a Honda and Toyota brand. Most people recommend Toyota because they are eaiser to maintain and also rugged. However, I’m looking at Honda because they are cheaper but might give problems in the long run. What do you think?
